It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. – Albert Einstein
The purpose of this site is to share information about teaching children to draw, paint and create! I truly feel that as a Mom, I am my daughter’s first teacher. My goal is to provide information and resources for Moms to teach their kids, or better yet – THEMSELVES, how to draw and paint.
I want drawing, painting, and creating art to be an experience you share and enjoy with your child. Learn and explore with them, you’ll build memories to last a lifetime.
So who am I?
I’ve been an artist as long as I can remember. I also have a 5-year-old daughter. The two things I identify most with in my life are being an ARTIST and being a MOM! My goal is to share my art experiences and resources with you.
Let’s face it – as Moms, we are our child’s first teacher! I want to make sure every Mom has the best resources to teach drawing and painting to their kids and most of all have fun together!
A bit about me…
I first became more aware of my love for drawing and painting when I was in middle school. I pursued art through my high school and college years and finally landed myself with a B.F.A. After trying my hand at a few different career paths, some art related, some not, I decided to go back to my first love – drawing and painting.
I became an Art Teacher!
What a wonderful experience it has been. After learning The Gluck Method, I began to impart this method to students and saw them bloom into aspiring artists. Now that is rewarding! I finally felt that I was spending my time and energy doing something that was fulfilling and rewarding to myself and others. Talk about making the world a better place. The more artists the better!
I have instructed drawing and painting as well as managed other artists and teachers for over 15 years. The missing piece of the puzzle in every art classes I have ever taken before The Gluck Method was TECHNIQUE.
The Gluck Method is the answer to creating the drawings and paintings you’ve always dreamed of.
You can learn the techniques to create traditional, representational drawings and paintings. With these great skills, a little imagination, and a touch of inspiration – the world is yours to create! What are you waiting for?
Learning this method from Larry Gluck and teaching it to others has changed my life. My goal is to share that experience with as many people as I can so they can learn to draw, paint, and create as well.
Most of all, I want parents to share the creative experience with their children.
