Drawing For Kids - Winning Kids

Well, it’s that time again.  I plan to scour the web regularly to see if I can find any new art contests for kids to enter.  Give your kids an opportunity to show off those drawing and painting skills with their fabulous art work!  Kids love to be recognized for their fantastic efforts and we parents don’t mind the bragging rights either.  A couple of the contests listed below are not active at the moment, but I wanted to share the information with you now.

Doodle 4 Google

This contest is not active yet, but coming soon.  I wanted to mention it now so we can all start planning to enter!

Sponsored by Google.  Information from their website:

Doodle 4 Google is an annual program that invites K-12 students in the United States to use their artistic talents to think big and redesign our homepage logo for millions to see. This year, we asked students to exercise their creative imaginations around the theme, “My Best Day Ever…” One talented student artist will see their artwork appear on the Google homepage, receive a $30,000 college scholarship, and a $50,000 technology grant for their school! The 2013 competition and voting period have now ended. Happy doodling and be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s competition which will kickoff in January 2014!
