I’m always drawn to toys that are tastefully and artistically designed when shopping for my daughter. Art is everywhere if you really look for it. An artist designed that toy you’re looking at, a designer created that package, someone at the store creatively displayed the toys for you to shop, the list goes on.
I would rather go out of my way to find an art inspired gift that sparks interest and imagination than something shiny and plastic that soon will lose it’s luster.
Melissa & Doug toys have become a favorite of ours. My daughter loves her Melissa & Doug sushi set, princess puzzle, and birthday cake set (just to name a few of her favorites). These are toys you keep and pass down to younger generations to enjoy when it’s their turn.
